Career day at Variety Boys & Girls Club this Wednesday

On Wednesday, May 17th, the Variety Boys & Girls Club is hosting career day for kids in the community.

From 4-6PM, professionals from around Astoria & other parts of Queens will converge on 21-12 30th Road to tell the youth of the Club what exactly it is that they do.

A few companies involved are: Chris Villari from Skanska-Walsh, John Sanchez from The Queens Ledger Newspaper, Chris Beurre from Zurich Insurance, Robert Miklos – Personal Injury Attorney, Sia Bitis from Maspeth High School, Frank Siguenza – OBGYN Doctor, Jon Kablack from Martin Luther School, and more…

These professionals will have a table, and will be ready to answer questions from kids circulating the room in hopes of learning about interesting professions.
