State Senator Michael Gianaris, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Assemblywoman Aravella Simotas and Councilman Costa Constantinides will field questions from the community to discuss the important questions facing immigrant communities.

“At this critical historical moment, it is important to inform people of their rights and let them know we are doing all we can to address their fears and concerns,” Gianaris said. “It is also important to hear directly from our community as we continue to fight to protect families and children, along with our shared values.”

The town hall will be in partnership with Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s Civil Rights and Labor bureaus, which will provide information about the state’s role in protecting immigrants.

The town hall will begin at 6 p.m. sharp.
